Timberland Endeavour - 2007

It is a chilly autumn day. You return happy but footsore from a long walk through the woodland where you are staying. The leaves are turning, the air is crisp, and you can already see your Timberland Endeavour waiting for you on the campsite. Step inside, the heating system takes the edge off the cool evening air, and within moments you’re stretched out on the lounge seating with your feet up and the kettle on. What next – dinner? The fully-equipped kitchen provides everything you need, including a dual fuel hob, separate grill and oven. A sink with drainer makes washing up easy, and the fridge freezer keeps all your ingredients fresh. There is no shortage of plug sockets for appliances, plenty of cupboard space for storing your supplies, and generous worktop space to prepare your food comfortably.

Towards the rear of the Endeavour, you’ll find the washroom – cleverly fitted with a toilet, shower, and hand basin so that you’re entirely self-sufficient wherever you choose to stay. Tucked neatly alongside is the wardrobe, complete with a hanging rail, making it easy to keep clothes tidy and ready to wear. As the evening winds down and night falls, the choice is yours when it comes to sleeping arrangements. You may prefer to leave the lounge made up as two single beds, or perhaps tonight you’ll convert it into a large, comfortable double bed – either way, you’ll sleep soundly in a space designed for relaxation. Storage has been carefully thought through. A large overcab compartment is ideal for stowing bedding or bulkier items, while there is additional room under the lounge seating and in the overhead lockers that line the living space. Wherever you look, there’s a spot designed to make sure nothing is ever underfoot.

This particular model in our showroom is equipped with a fitted awning for shaded outdoor living, a bike rack to bring along your cycles, two tables for flexible dining or working, and an electronically operated step for easy access. Entertainment is taken care of too, with a TV point already installed and a Pioneer headunit at the cab for your journeys. At just 5.79 metres in length, the Endeavour falls comfortably under the 6-metre mark, which means it’s easier to park, simpler to book onto ferries, and far more manageable on winding country roads than many larger motorhomes. Despite its compact size, it never feels cramped – instead, it strikes a perfect balance between comfort, practicality and manoeuvrability.
