Let’s start with the outside. It’s a VW base with a full CamperKing conversion, and it looks the part — the gloss black finish, 21-inch alloys, and tinted privacy windows give it a really modern, clean look. There’s a towbar on the back too. When you step inside theres something really cosy about the interior. The cream coloured units brighten the space nicely, and the black quilted upholstery adds a bit of luxury. The heater keeps everything warm when the temperature drops so that you’re comfortable all year round.

With five seatbelts, its a great fit for a couple who love to get away on longer trips, but who also want the option to bring a few friends or family along now and again – maybe the kids, or even your parents for a day out? At night, the rock ‘n’ roll bench slides down into a double bed, and up top, there’s another sleeping area in the roof. It’s got three windows (with zip covers) so you can let the breeze in or just enjoy the view from up there. A safety-net has been added for peace of mind if you’re using it for the kids. Under the bench is a big open area – ideal for bulky stuff: camping chairs, bags, muddy boots.. whatever your version of “the essentials” looks like.

There’s also a rear-access cupboard. And when the beds upright it doubles as a little bench in the boot – perfect for sitting on while taking off sandy shoes after the beach. The kitchen has been fitted with a grill, twin hob, sink, fridge-freezer, and cupboard space. When it’s time to eat, the removable table pops in, and the front passenger seats can swivel around to create a dining area. Tech-wise, you’ve got USB ports for charging your devices, cruise control for longer journeys, DAB radio, and air-con in the cab to keep things cool when you’re on the move.
