As it gets darker, the roof lifts and the second bed is ready in seconds. It’s warm, well insulated, and properly sprung. There’s airflow through the flyscreen panels, reading lights when you want them, and USB points for phones and tablets. Power quietly looks after itself thanks to the solar panel, and the refillable gas system means no heavy lifting or last-minute bottle runs. After a day out, the external shower comes into its own — perfect for rinsing sandy feet, muddy boots, or even the dog before heading inside.
