The UK's best performing Ace, Bessacarr and Swift motorhome dealers were honoured at the Swift Group's 10th Annual Awards of Excellence.

Three dealerships scooped two awards each at the Gala Event at Willerby near Hull where the winners were presented with their awards by comedian Lenny Henry and Swift Group Chairman Peter Smith.

Award-winners are determined by the results of a unique, independent survey, commissioned by the Swift Group – the UK's largest manufacturer of touring caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes – which invites consumers to rate the service of their dealership in terms of sales, aftersales and customer care.

For the past two years Todds Motorhomes  of Preston have been awarded "Best Swift Sales Team in the country" and this year came runner up - "Best Dealer of the Year".

Swift Group Chairman Peter Smith said: "The Swift Group remains the only caravan and motorhome manufacturer to carry out independent market research and therefore dealers winning these awards, which are based on the findings of the market research, are clearly providing a level of all round sales and service support that meets the ever-increasing demands of our customers."

He said the results of the survey help the Company not only to monitor dealer performance but also to monitor its own performance in terms of product quality, adding, it also highlights any areas requiring improvements in the future.
